At Out of the Ark Music we have some brilliant songs for your primary school concert!
Follow numbers 1 to 10 below for the ultimate concert programme, or pick and choose to your hearts content.
All the songs come from our fabulously popular songbook Sing™ Sensational, a spectacular collection of 19 flamboyant songs and warm-ups just right for an extravagant, energetic and exciting show-stopper of a performance!
  1. Open your ‘sing extravaganza’ with Sing Like Never Before by Mark and Helen Johnson. A real ‘feels-good-to-sing’ song with loads of scope for effective dynamic variation and a good strong message to go with it. The chorus has built-in mileage for some simple choreography to make the whole thing a bit of a show stopper.
  2. ‘Fill the whole world with song’ with Singsational by Antony Copus. An anthemic assembly song, ideal for brightening up any day. Personalise it by inserting the name of your school and make it your school anthem.
  3. Challenge yourself with Jazz Is Cool by Ned Bennett sung in a four-part round! – It’s ‘cooler than ice’! A brilliant jazz round that’s great fun to sing and very impressive to perform – a real favourite with the Out of the Ark choir!
  4. For the most spectacular show and a song that is sure to get your audience clapping and toe- tapping – Our Time To Shine! by Mary Green and Julie Stanley. Probably the most showtastic, razzamatazztical song in the collection. So, switch on the spotlight, strike up the band and ‘raise the rafters with singing and laughter’ in your most spectacular show!
  5. Time to get moving! – In The Band by Nikki Lewis. A cool jazz song that builds up the different instrumentalists in a band and creates a great layer of musical sound effects. An ideal performance piece, with great scope to add moves to represent each instrument.
  6. This one is sure to become an Out of the Ark classic, Sing - Just Because We Can! by Mark and Helen Johnson. A mood-lifting, life-affirming song that is perfect for all-year round singing! ‘They’ll always be a reason to sing together, every one!’
  7. This feel-good song will relax and impress your audience - Shoo-be-doo-ah by Mary Green and Julie Stanley. A fabulous feast of harmony! Written in four separate parts and full to the brim with oohs, ahs and wahs!
  8. The perfect ballad for your audience to wave their phone ‘flames’ to! - There Will Always Be A Reason To Sing by Rob Stroh. Full of passion, this inspiring song also includes beautiful harmonies and solo opportunities.
  9. It’s time to get your percussion out for Different Drums by Paul Field. All about uniqueness and unity, with scope for solo spots, group drumming and a combination of different rhythms and with some fabulous three-part harmony, this really is a humdinger of a song!
  10. And finally, the perfect closing song to any show – Encore! by Rebecca Kincaid. ‘We’ve been spectacular, we’ve been supreme!’ A fabulously energetic song to encourage your audience to clap and shout ‘encore’, complete with space for bowing and taking applause! We hope your primary schools concert is a great success!
