I watched this play about a month ago, and the memories of it are still clear in my mind. I loved the music and the costumes. Haiy-a U-tombya sent shivers up my spine. My LIfe, My Love was so beautiful, I was teary. Such an amazing play, being a year 9 student, it brought me friendships with the little primaries who performed it. Oh my goodness ! This play was just amazing, I can't believe how much laughing I have done in the past couple of months!! We are doing our last performance of this play this week, I don't want it to end! I played the Main Narrator, and I loved it. The songs were brilliant, I love Come to the River and Peace Child. We've just performed this musical with 180 KS2 students and it was brilliant. The story is appealing to boys and girls alike and the songs are catchy and entertaining. The Rival Tribal song is a particular favourite here and we had some snappy actions to go with it. Absolutely the BEST musical we've done and I can't see how we will top it next year. Thank you! I have 'directed' this play twice now - once with Year 6's and lastly with Year 4's - both were super performances. The songs are what makes this play so special. The children just love the music and it's so diiferent from other 'musicals'. I would recommend this play to any teacher/organisation and challenge any parent not to have a lump in the throat at the end! (Posted on 01/09/2010)

Me and my friends were doing peace child at school for st.chads day peformance
and we really enjoyed all the comedy and acting. If any other schools read this if
they have a peformance coming up i will highly recomend this play,it is fun and
