Delivery Timescale

Your delivery timescale will depend on the Shipping Method you choose in the checkout:

Please note that our ‘working days’ are Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm, and do not include weekends or UK Bank Holidays.

Delivery dates, if given, are given in good faith as an indication of the estimated delivery time and are not a contractual obligation by us to deliver goods or to perform services at the time stated. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. 

 

1st Class Packet Post

Unless you have selected Special Delivery, UK orders are sent using Royal Mail 1st class packet post which can take between 7 and 10 days to reach you after it is despatched. This is not a tracked service. If you have any questions, please call our Customer Service Department on +44 (0) 20 8481 7200 during UK office hours (Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm).

Special Delivery

For a higher charge, you can select to have your order delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery.  This is a tracked service and all deliveries must be signed for, so please ensure that there will be someone available at your chosen delivery address to sign for the parcel.  If there is no-one to sign for the parcel, Royal Mail will leave a ‘Something for you’ card explaining that they attempted to make a delivery. You will then have a choice either to collect the item from your local delivery office or to arrange a redelivery directly with Royal Mail.

To ensure next day Special Delivery, your order must be placed before the cut-off time.  This will normally be 12pm UK-time, but may vary depending on the volume of orders.  The scheduled delivery date will be clearly indicated in the checkout and on your order confirmation.  Customers placing orders before the cut-off time on a Thursday will be offered Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service, which will be scheduled for delivery the following working day. Orders placed after the cut-off time on a Thursday will be scheduled for delivery the following Tuesday.

Please note that deliveries to outlying areas may take longer than the next day service date in the checkout and on your order confirmation.

The scheduled delivery dates are given in good faith, based on Royal Mail’s advertised service.  They are an indication of the expected delivery date but are not a contractual obligation by us to deliver goods or to perform services at the time stated. Where We Ship To

Orders made on our UK website can be shipped to most addresses worldwide. The countries that we currently ship to can be found in the drop-down list under 'country' when you view your shopping basket. For other destinations, please call our Customer Service Department on +44 (0) 20 8481 7200 during UK office hours (Monday – Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm), or email music@outoftheark.com.

If we are unable to ship physical products to you, you will still be able to purchase songs from us by choosing the Online Only eSongbook option where available.

For international orders, we are not responsible for any delays, confiscation or import duties imposed by local customs authorities. You must pay for those charges direct. If orders are not received, we may have to send your replacement order by secure courier, in which case you will be asked to pay the additional carriage costs.

Unless you have selected our tracked service, Royal Mail International Business Tracked, orders to Europe and Rest of the World are delivered using the standard Royal Mail airmail packet post service. This is not a tracked or guaranteed service. See below for alternative postage options.

Tracked Airmail Service

To certain countries of the world, we provide a tracked service using Royal Mail International Business Tracked.  These countries are:
 
European Countries:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Croatia, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland
 
Rest of the World Countries:
Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Turkey, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

International Business Tracked cannot be used to send items to BFPO addresses.
 
There will be an additional charge for this service, which will be added to the charges listed under ‘Standard Airmail Service’ above.
 
Royal Mail track all International Business Tracked items until they leave the UK. The item is then handed over to the destination country's postal service as a priority item, where it should continue to be tracked until delivery.  When your mail is delivered, the item should be electronically scanned by the postal operative delivering it to confirm it has arrived.  A signature is not taken, but an electronic delivery confirmation is used to update Royal Mail’s tracking tool.

However, International Business Tracked is not a courier service, so we cannot provide a guaranteed or certain delivery time.  We do not offer compensation for delays or missing tracking information. For courier services, please see below.
