Mac User CD ROM Information

In October 2019 Apple released its latest Mac software update, macOS 10.15 Catalina. This new software version only supports 64-bit applications, meaning it is the first of Apple’s operating systems that no longer supports 32-bit software applications. The Singchronize® software used on the CD ROM is a 32-bit application which means that it will not run on macOS 10.15 Catalina or later. Unfortunately, this change is entirely out of our control, as it is implemented by Apple.

However, we have developed a new version of our Singchronize® Download Player that is a 64-bit application and will work on macOS 10.15 and later. So, if you choose a Premium Pack which includes a CD ROM, the CD ROM will not function in macOS 10.15 Catalina, but you will still be able to access your songs from the My Words on Screen™ Online area of your account using our New Download Player or Streaming Player. Alternatively, you can just purchase the Words on Screen™ eSongbook only Premium Pack. In that case we won’t send you any physical product, but you can access all of your songs and resources immediately from the My Words on Screen™ Online area of your account.

You can update to the new download player by going to your account area and clicking the Download Player button. You can access all of your Words on Screen™ products in your account, all in one place with this player. You can also choose to Stream Online from your account using your Mac.

If you have previously purchased one of our CD ROMs and installed it on your mac, please go to our FAQs for more information on updating those.
