WHO ARE OUR WORKSHOPS FOR?
Our workshops are for every teacher in every school. You don’t need to be a music specialist to understand and engage with our workshops.
WHERE ARE OUR WORKSHOPS HELD?
Our workshops are normally held at Music Hub conferences, events and twilight sessions but can also be delivered in individual schools. For open courses to book onto in your area, click here. If you would like to book an Out of the Ark Music workshop, these can be held in most locations. We ask that you provide a suitable training room with access to a projector and screen, as well as speakers.

CAN WE RUN MORE THAN ONE WORKSHOP IN A DAY?
Yes, we encourage you to get the most out of our workshops leaders in the time you have available.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ATTEND A WORKSHOP?
Usually up to 30 people can attend one workshop, however, this is sometimes flexible so please get in touch to find out – Anna Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHO DELIVERS YOUR WORKSHOPS?
Our workshops are delivered by experienced music specialists and education professionals, who are experts at developing and delivering singing in schools. .

A selection of lesson plans, free songs, cross-curricular ideas to use straight away, music activities, a helpful glossary of terms and a discount voucher for a great deal on your next purchase.
HOW HAVE THE WORKSHOPS BEEN DEVELOPED?
Our workshops have been carefully designed and developed by our Head of Education Development, Antony Copus, along with our trained workshop leaders. Each one has been carefully created to offer something unique and achievable.
MY SCHOOL WON'T BE ABLE TO RUN A WORKSHOP, BUT CAN I BOOK MYSELF ONTO A WORKSHOP IN MY AREA?

DO I NEED TO BE A MUSIC SPECIALIST TO UNDERSTAND THE WORKSHOPS?
Not at all. Our workshops are designed to engage and encourage every teacher, no matter what their musical experience. This is all about using music across the curriculum.
WILL YOU BE DEVELOPING ANY MORE WORKSHOPS?
We have an exciting new Maths linked workshop which will be available from the summer term 2019. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT YOUR WORKSHOPS?
Our workshops are grounded in solid research that suggests active engagement with singing has an enormous impact on pupils’ intellectual, social and personal development. As well as promoting team spirit and creating a collaborative learning environment. We passionately believe that by introducing singing across your school you will begin to see and reap all the benefits that music engagement can bring. Yet, most significantly our workshops prove you don’t need to be a music specialist to introduce and engage with singing in your school – trust us!

Yes, we believe our workshops would be greatly suited to NQTs who would like to take their teaching method to the next level and introduce music to every day lessons.
