This modern Jonah And The Whale musical adaptation has a balmy, summertime feel to it. It contains an exhilarating mix of sea-themed songs featuring sun, waves and a bunch of scurvy pirates.
With a fun and lively script that is perfect for young performers, Jonah - A Fishy Tail introduces a whole host of new characters, including a beautiful senorita, an irritating crab and Peg It and Leg It, the nasty Ninevites.

A fantastic musical! My class of 28 year 2's and 3's loved this musical so much! Picked it up really quickly. Songs are catchy and easy to learn as are the lines in the play. Would highly recommend this musical.

Here is another engaging script and music from Out of the Ark on the story of Jonah
The Teacher's Book includes all that a school needs to create a production: the character list, stage directions, costumes and props, tips on teaching the songs, music score and lyrics sheets for 10 songs and licence and copyright details. The songs are lively with definitive rhythms and tunes and easily accessible for 7-11s to learn. They include some amusing anachronisms such as 'fish and chips on the promenade', 'taking a stroll into town' in 'Sunbathing'. Yet, the seriousness of Jonah running away from God is retained clearly in the lyrics of 'Lord, rescue me/ Life will never be the same/ Lord rescue me'. Characters such as Peg It and Leg It and an irritating crab liven the script but the main story is adhered to faithfully. I would highly recommend this to any school wanting to undertake a class or KS2 (7-11s) production.

A wonderful production and great songs that the children have absolutely loved! Plenty of opportunities to add dances and a fun and lively script!
